Adventure Training Scheme Instructors Courses

The aim of these courses are to train personnel to instruct/lead adventure training activities and to promote the safe enjoyment of the outdoors and provides progressive training and assessment in the technical, leadership and group management skills required by the appropriate National Governing Body (NGB). Courses available are:

a. Hill Walking Skills, Mountain Leader Summer (MLS) Introductory, Training, Pre-Assessment and Assessment.

b. Walking Group Leader (WGL) Assessment
c. Rock Climbing Skills, Single Pitch Award (SPA) Training and Assessment

d. Kayak Foundation Skills, Canoe Foundation Skills and Kayak Intermediate Skills (BCU 1 - 3*), BCU Level 1 and 2 Coach (Kayak) Training.
